On Sept 1st Windows did some changing in there accounts.
I have two email address, one from telus which I access from Outlook Express and one from Hotmail which was on the same page and never had a problem, could get both done at the same time etc etc......!!!! All from Outlook Express, very handy.
NOW since this upgrade or change, I can't get into my hotmail account, :tantrum: I was able to go to Windows live hotmail for the first week or so, then I decided to get it back onto Outlook, well must have really been doing some stuff, because now I can't get into my hotmail account at all, keeps saying wrong password, I put in the right password and it won't let me access!! So frustrated at this point, this is the account I use for ACE, so if anyone has emailed me from here, sorry if I haven't responded.
Can anyone help me get his back to where it was before Sept 1st???

Try using a web browser (how you view ACE) and go to www.hotmail.com . You should be prompted to "logon". If you've forgotten your password they have a way of reminding you. Once on the site there are instructions (help) about how you can set up your e-mail program Outlook Express, etc. to receive your hotmail e-mail.

I did it, now everything comes into Outlook Express, yahooo, I am a computer wiz!! :blushing: :rofl:

Congrats! I had the same issues setting up my gmail account. Each one is a little different.

Thanks Mellowmeadow for your help, that is just what I needed was where to get started. But oh my, now to get the time to read the 80 or so emails, :shock:

:tantrum: well this computer is just about to go into the recycle bin!! Does anyone have Telus fast dial up? What a pain in the butt. There is no way I could get onto the Internet yesterday, well first thing in the morning for about an hour then the rest of the day nothing... I could get to ACE but of course not open or read anything.
So last night I phoned Telus, they called me back about 20 minutes later, the fellow was very helpful, phoning me from the Caribeans, sp*, so we had to go in and change a bunch of setting, now I can get on here, reply and so far so good.
Now, I managed to get my hotmail account coming into my Outlook express, but can't reply, send or forward any mail from there.
I was waaaaaay to quick to say I was a computer wizard, that I will never be.
Oh the joys of dial up. someday when I become RICH from raising chickens, I will get me a new everything!!!

I struggled with their "fast dialup" and when I needed a website I needed something faster, so I got an aircard. It works really well and is around sixty dollars a month for 3 gig. When my computer starts acting like it has a virus, I just blow it out with compressed air and it seems to help lot!

Oh Doug, I don't mean air from the air compressor, I mean the air from the Can, that you get at computer stores.

Once I was in serious situation and had a big problem.But fortunately myself helped-outlook express 6 problems,it made it for free and could showed restore your mailbox from corrupted archives of dbx format and it is very easy.
