For those of you already familiar with the Canadian Horse, and for those wanting to know and see more about our rare "National Horse of Canada", check out the Canadian Horse Heritage and Preservation Society (CHHAPS) calendar for 2010.
This lovely glossy calendar has just been released and it is “chock a block” full of absolutely gorgeous professional quality photographs taken of Canadian Horses both at work and play. All CHHAPS members had the opportunity to submit photos for the calendar, and these were then judged by an objective panel, and the best chosen. And the result is spectacular – probably one of the nicest calendars I have ever seen!
The CHHAPS 2010 Calendar Features:
--24 color photos of Canadian Horses (both large feature photos and smaller profile photos on each page) --Both Canadian and American holidays listed --Contains information on both CHHAPS and the Canadian Horse --Coil-bound for flat display --Printed on high-quality paper (80#) --Large note space for ideal for jotting down phone numbers, deworming or farrier visits etc
-- "before" and "after" months also listed on each page
--2009 and 2011 calendars on the back cover
If you go to the CHHAPS website:
http://www.chhaps.org/2010_calendar.htm
You will find a pdf order form that you can print off which gives all of the pricing and other necessary information. As well, you will find sample photographs showing the calendar front and back covers. The back cover has thumbnail photos of all of the photos contained within, so gives you an excellent preview of what you’ll be getting inside.
These lovely calendars are priced at only $15 each. If you buy more than 10, the price drops. And the best thing is, they are a real bargain as CHHAPS has kindly decided to foot shipping costs within Canada, so there are no shipping and handling charges for Canadian buyers. We did have to add on a small amount for S&H for our American neighbours due to the higher postage costs there, however even with this added, the cost of this calendar is still very reasonable.
So, if anyone is looking for a uniquely equine themed and very beautiful Christmas gift for their friends and family this year, these would be just the thing!
PS hopefully it is ok to post this info here. Figured that lots of people on this list have an interest in heritage breeds, so what better place to showcase another one!
