We got another egg today. :yahoo: I think they are probably from our little naked neck hen.

Re: My Halloween Egg

:congrats:

My Naked Necks and Auracanas have just finished their molting. I've been getting an egg or 3 a day, enough to keep us fed. I love my Naked Necks! When one of the girl's new feathers came in she had white tips to a lot of her feathers. I've never seen this in a black Naked Neck before, so have to decide if I will let her breed next spring.
I also have Beltsville Small White turkeys and some of those hens are still laying and one in particular is still broody and looks absolutely awful. Think I'm going to put a sweater on her.

Re: My Halloween Egg

Our little naked neck has brown tips to her feathers.  The roosters are ugly but she is kinda sweet.  I am thinking about getting some more or letting her hatch some chicks if she goes broody.
