Hi felix, the three amigos are doing great, lost the weak little fella,
. All started out white and now turning partridge, a couple more colour changes to go I think. I think we may have two cockerals and one pullet.
These little devils seem to produce more cockerals around here, everything else have had to buy roos for next year. Got one of our hens setting on 8 eggs, going to let her brood them and see how her hatch goes.
Here's some pics of the little darlings, all scruffy changing from fluff to feathers.
what do you think Felix two cockerals??

They're great looking.I like the way the are starting to drop the wings and standing,I've been getting the same about 2 to 1 cockrels to pullets the only time I got more pullets was one batch that the temp was 99 degrees from start to finish. As for your lil guys can't really see in that pic.

Hehehe oh Gord you're feeling better!! I have lots of hair but nothing compared to my other half.
Getting ready for wintry weather getting a good beard on. He's the chief reason every animal on the farm is spoiled rotten. A kind soul with animals, sometimes too kind. People now there's a whole other animal.
The chicks run to him squawking and throwing a fit, for the treats he always carries around for everyone. Candy for horses, piece of old danish for birds, cookie for dogs, he even takes feed out for deer if the winter is hard. But loves to eat venison, won't kill it, but will gladly eat it if already dead. That's my job, got an 8 pointer this morning, he took off running bleeding. I'll take my old dog out shortly and find him. Hate not getting a good kill shot first crack. was freezing cold out there brrrr.
