Ideal Order
I have decided to place a Jan 1, 2010 order with Ideal. I am ordering to them at this time as I have spoken with them and they suggested to get my order in the begining of the year they start shipping in Feb.
If you would like to be in on this order I am ordering for Alberta. If you want to be in on this order I have enough room to house chciks for a few days tell you can pick them up from me or meet somewhere for them. I live only a few hours from the border so I can go down and pick them up for those that are north of Calgary.
I will need your orders by email to madloi04@yahoo.ca and 50% of your order as well via PayPal, Bank Cheque, Email Money Transfer.. Once I have a good idea I will contact Ideal back and find out what the cost for papers will be as well and that will be split evenly between the people that are getting orders with me.
I will cover the gas to go there and bring them back to my house.

Will they have all the birds hatching by February? I might be in with you on this, I want a few birds early in the year and they are a pretty good hatchery. I will email you my list once I make up my mind on it.

Silver Laced, Blue Laced Red, and Gold Laced Wyandottes, Black Australorps, Ameraucana (Easter eggers), Speckled Sussex, Barred Rock, Rhode Island Reds, Blue Cochin, Black and Exchequer Leghorn, Buff Orpington, Salmon Faverolle. Pilgrim Geese, White and Brown Chinese Geese, Saxony, Rouen, Chocolate and Blue Muscovy Ducks, Call and Australian Spotted Ducks.

Also Registered Angus Cattle, 9 horses, Border Collies and Siamese colored farm cats.

I have numerous orders already coming in. I will only take a few more. If you are wanting in on this order please let me know what kinda birds, how many. I will need to call Ideal and let them know of the amount of birds and the numbers of each breed needed so that they can tell me a suggested time on when they will all be ready for shipping.
I want to do everyones order in one shot and I need to know how many I will have to house as well and for how long once I find out the shipping date but I wont know that tell I talk to them. None of this will be done tell the New Year. My order will go in on Jan 1, 2010.
I will be able to house most of the birds if need be but will have to know what and how many everyone needs as all birds will be shipped in different boxes so that if I have to house them I wont have birds mixed up with someone elses birds.
Like I said I will need 50% of the order paid when the order goes in for deposit and the remainder 1 week prior to pick up prior to pick up via PayPal, E-MoneyTransfer, Money Order.
Once I find out the cost of shipping and Health papers that will be split evenly between buyers. My gas will be on me if housing is needed I will work out pricing on that at a later date once I know how many I have to house and for how long.
Thanks to everyone that is allowing me to be apart of this and helping others out with bringing birds to their new homes LOL what a freak!! I know!!

I wanted to be part of this order but I just heard back from Ideal. Their Rhode Island Reds are not purebred just a production strain with other blood introduced to bump up egg production. So my hunt continues. Pure bred RIR are very rare and hard to find.
a bunch of old type Rhode Island Reds, a few egg pumping Isa Browns, two completely useless but cute bantam roosters "Mutt" & "Jeff", our beloved Arab gelding, a mini donkey, our dog "Magic" and a rabbit named "Roo". and soon... 6 White Chanteclers

Hi Everyone
I have spoken with Ideal and asked them about the delivery date for the birds that I have gotten from everyone. They said without knowing forsure tell in the New Year when they get the birds and confirmation she is thinking that and Mid March dilivery is what would be happening. If this still works for everyone that I have taken orders from please let me know if you still want to be on the list.
