Elmer Fudding Around

Grumbling to herself, Faith made her way out onto the foyer and started slowly up the stairs. She ran her hand along the dark, ornately carved, cherry-finish banister rail then abruptly yanked her hand away when she hit a stray nail, "Shhh!" She grimaced and continued up the stairs to the top landing.

She looked to her right, squinting to try and see in the dark, and then left. She slowly walked down the dark hallway next to the banister rail until both hall and rail melted into the wall, at which point she tried the knob of the last door.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

Angel opened his eyes slowly and shifted them from side to side, "Where...?" he was laying on his back on a a hard wooden floor next to a frilly Victorian bed in a bedroom on the second floor of the hotel. He tried to sit up too soon and jerked back, holding the back of his head and closing his eyes with a wince, "Ah.."

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

Faith poked her head into the room that Angel had woken up in, her 'stake' pulled back to ear level in case something were to jump her.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

Angel winced and got to his feet. He cursed under his breath, rubbing the back of his head and it took him a few seconds to notice Faith out of the corner of his eye, "Faith."

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

"Angel." Faith mimicked Angel sarcastically as she entered the room, "Where the hell have you been? You missed all the good shit. Werewolf, cemetery, and some hot Mexican chick who's got my cigarettes."

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

"Werewolf cemetery...?" Angel sounded confused and he looked around then immediately began checking his coat for tears or scuffs.

"Werewolf and cemetery. What the hell are you looking for, your fluffy cotton tail?"

"Cotton tai-? No, wait. You said there are others here. At least one girl?" He dusted his shirt off distractedly.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

"Yeah, a whole mosh pit of angry mental patients downstairs. C'mon." Faith didn't excercise caution as she headed back out into the hallway. She started off of the landing and downstairs, not bothering to wait for Angel.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

Nancy grunted when she finally sat up. She rubbed her wrists and winced as they were still extremely sore from being strapped to the hospital bed. Her eyes took a trip around the room, "Shit..." she whispered as she climbed off of the bed. She heard voices nearby and walked across the room to the door. She peeked out through a crack in the door and watched as Faith walked by her room and walked down the stairs.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

Faith paused and then glanced back behind her. She shrugged off the feeling of being watched and left the staircase.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

Bloody window stick held high, Jack creeps stealthily out into the drawing room. He takes an optimistic peek around, but spots feet at the top of the staircase and ducks back into the library again, waiting in as much shadow as he can without losing sight of the staircase.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

Downstairs in a walkin closet down near the foyer Spike shifted and a pair of red trainers tumbled down from the pile that covered him.  With a violent start as he woke in panic and shouted, "I'm drownin' in footwear!"

Tumbling out of the pile he managed to find the handle and spill out onto the floor outside the closet.  He pulled himself to his feet and brushed off his jeans and looked around hoping no one had witnessed that.

Spike peered back into the closet and shivered, closing the door and started down the hallway hearing voices.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

Holding his forehead, hoping the pain would ebb, Angel headed downstairs the way Faith had gone earlier. He found himself in the hallway and eventually the foyer, but came across no one.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

When Jack gets a clear look at Angel his eyes widen; he retreats into full shadow, turning as he does, and backs up against the wall. Some conflict plays out on his face, as if he's stuggling with steller space-math problems.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

With a guilt-panged wince, Jack creeps, very carefully and quietly, over to the broken window and starts awkwardly maneuvering himself through the glass until he's outside. Once he's clear of the window, he makes a break for it, daintily mad-dashing off the property at roughly twenty miles per hour. (Two-hundred and thirty years has done nothing to straighten out his run.)

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

Angel made his way into the sitting room, disoriented and upset with a look of two year old confusion on his face. He sat in one of the dusty chairs and tried to turn back time in his mind and figure out how he'd gotten there.

Re: Elmer Fudding Around

Angel took a few minutes to collect his thoughts. He looked up at his surroundings and slowly stood, unable to recall even the last few moments. He looked confused again and whispered, "Faith? I saw..." he sighed and shook his head, blinking his eyes, "I thought I saw..."

Heaving himself in the direction of the kitchen, Angel made his way through the thin corridor and into the brightly lit deco nightmare. He turned on the cold water after unsuccessfully trying the hot, then leaned over the sink and splashed some cold water on his face. Angel turned the water off and turned around, his back to the sink and wall now. He stared the way he'd just come,- more clear headed, more determined,- and slowly a pale-lipped smirk spread up one side of his face.

At once more agile than he was previously, Angel did a little Jackson Five meets The Pips spin in place as he walked back for the foyer and the front door, and double-snap/pointed at the door. He smoothied out of the building and headed for the street, "Here I come, better run, Disco Demon..."
