Announcement

All who have no contracts, and are sick of DirecTV, please terminate your service immediately. They screwed up my bill THREE months in a row, won't let me out of the contract, and are billing me $420.00 for early termination. My bother is canceling his service, I need more! Tell them that you are "canceling because of Account# 36116205." IF you are canceling just to cancel, tell them that anyway!

Re: Powersupply

Can you be more specific?   Are you using an adapted PC supply, or another XBOX supply?

Re: Powersupply

I am using the original xbox power supply and i want to know if there's a way to fix it. Sometimes the xbox turn on and if does turn on, there a chance of it turning of by itself. Sometimes i got to move around the cable for the power supply so my xbox could work.

Re: Powersupply

No real way to FIX it, but you should be able to find one on Ebay.  You need to know your Mainboard version, and use that supply.  There are THREE different power supplies for XB1.   I do not have any PSUs, just modded consoles to get rid of.

Re: Powersupply

You said you got to move around the cable to power up the xbox? If is 360,then definitely is the cable, probability one wire inside the cable is broken/cracked (i think the small wire with 5V). You can check this with ohm-meter

NOT 360!  IF that were the case, I would have told him how to modify a regular PC supply for Xbox 360.

If he has to move it around, he probably needs to take it apart, and resolder the power header connector to the motherboard.  This is a common failure point, I missed that part
